There are a few ways you can make your existing fence look better without an expensive rebuild.
If your fence if vinyl, a simple wash with the garden hose will freshen it right up. The easy maintenance is a big selling feature of vinyl. For a wood fence, a pressure wash will do the trick but it’s a little more involved. If the wood is a few years old, staining or sealing is a good way to get the longest life out of it.
Pressure washing is particularly effective on wood products.
Solar caps look terrific on vinyl and wood fences. They collect energy from the sun during the day and turn on automatically at night with a soft and charming glow.

A light trellis with some planters or vines is a perennial favourite to help the fence blend in with its surroundings. The word “light” should be accented here: heavier structures and modifications can damage a fence and they void the warranties.
Greenery is a very effective accessory as long as it’s kept lightweight.
