A question we get asked sometimes: What is your cheapest fence? Excellent question.
The answer really depends on what you need the fence for. If you’re just letting the dog out once a day, or want to block off part of the yard, chain link is perfect. If you don’t need privacy it’s the most economical way to go.
Chain link is the most economical of the major fence types.
If you need privacy, we recommend pressure treated lumber. It’s the most affordable privacy style fence.
Pressure treated is the most economical wood choice.
Keep in mind why you’re buying the fence. If you just got a dog, or have kids, or have a pool, or aesthetics are very important to you, it will affect what type of fence fits your needs best. Cheapest might not be the best to meet all of those needs.
For example, if you spent a great deal of money on a new pool, chain link might not be your best option. Your neighbours will see you swimming, and it won’t age as well as some of our more expensive wood or vinyl fences.
If you spend a little more now you might be happier in the long run. Think about all your needs before you buy. Our sales reps will happy to go over all the options with you.
