When it comes to adding both safety and visual appeal to stairs, balconies, or terraces, custom welded iron railings are a standout choice. They combine strength, design flexibility, and a clean, lasting finish. Here’s why they make sense:.
Tailored to Your Site — No “One-Size-Fits-All”
One of the biggest advantages of custom welded iron railings is that they are built to fit your exact site. The our technicians measure your space so that each railing section comes in with a snug, precise fit. That means you avoid awkward gaps, mismatched angles, or retrofit mishaps.
Because the units are welded directly to the posts, the installation is more rigid and durable than railings that use loose connectors or brackets alone.
Curved (Radiused) Options
Want something more graceful than straight segments? These custom railings can be radiused or curved — think gentle arcs or flowing transitions. That flexibility allows you to integrate railings around curved steps, rounded landings, or organic architectural forms.
You’re not limited to simple 90° turns or straight runs: more elaborate combinations of turns, angles, or curves are possible.

Our iron railings are custom curved and welded by our experienced technicians before installation.
Multiple Heights to Suit Your Needs
The railings come in a variety of standard heights, so you can pick what suits your project’s aesthetics and functional requirements:
- 38″ (very popular)
- 44″
- 50″
- 62″
Size Constraints & On-Site Connectivity
Because of transport, handling, and powder coating oven size constraints, each railing unit is limited to roughly 15 ft long by 9 ft deep. That’s usually more than enough, but for longer runs or deep landings, multiple units can be fabricated and then connected on site using heavy-duty brackets or splice plates.
If needed, the ends can be flanged to walls or structural elements to provide solid anchors.
Custom Powder Coating
These railings can be powder coated in virtually any color you choose. That gives you huge flexibility to match or contrast with your home, trim, landscape features, or overall design scheme. The powder coating provides excellent corrosion resistance, especially in climates with ice, salt, or fluctuating weather.
Picket Upgrades
There are several picket upgrades and decorative details available:
- Hammered pickets (textured surface)
- Bellied pickets (slight outward curve)
- Basket in picket
- Two baskets
- Circle insert
- Two circles
Safety & Practical Benefits
Beyond beauty, these railings serve a critical safety role. In winter, when steps can be icy or slippery, a solid, well-anchored handrail gives support and confidence during ascent or descent. That’s especially important for children, older adults, or anyone with mobility constraints.
Because the railings are welded and sturdy, they don’t wobble or flex the way lower quality railings might. The consistent height and grip also make them easier to use.
