Screw Piles are posts that are turned into the ground by machine as opposed to the usual digging and cementing process. They are a requirement for most deck permits.
Fascia is the trim on the side of the deck between the deck boards and skirting. It can be Single, Double, Triple, or there can be none.
Skirting is the covering on the vertical sides of your deck. Skirting can be done with 1"x6" privacy fence boards, Victorian lattice, Georgian lattice, or there can be none.
The number of Steps up to your deck is determined by the height of the main flooring. Wood Steps should be a minimum of 4' wide.
Hidden Deck Screws are installed with the CAMO Marksman Pro. The side angle entry hides the fasteners from view.
For stairs, a Paslode nailer is used to achieve the same effect.
Iron Walk Gates come with a set of adjustable Post and Frame Collars.
Folding Gates have special hinges that allow the gate panels to be folded into each other. It's a helpful modification to wider gates when space is at a premium.
Iron Walk Gates come with a lockable Finger and Catch System.
Most iron gates can be Straight or Arched. The upper photo shows a Straight Staten Gate and the lower photo shows an Arched Stamford Gate (arched gates typically rise 6" above the the height of the fence).
An Auto Closure is required to make your gate "pool legal". Auto Closures are designed for standard sized walk gates. They may not work for larger sizes.
A Locking Door Handle is a perfect mix of security and convenience.
Add an Ornamental Gate Handle w/Mount Box. Comes complete with an attractive cylinder and key locking system. Note: can't be added to gates that are already installed.
Protect your toddlers with a Child-Proof Magnetic Latch. The height of the Unlock Button keeps it well out of reach of curious youngsters.
The Add a Rail Upgrade increases the strength and durability of any iron fence.
The Puppy Fill upgrade keeps beloved pets in the yard.
Aluminum Gates weigh less and provide better rust resistance. They are available as an upgrade for most (but not all) fence styles. Ask your sales rep for details.
Our Estate Gates have options for gate operators, automated telephone systems, custom sized pillar posts, specialty hardware, and our "wood over steel" or "wood over aluminum" framing techniques.
Aluminum Flower Basket Hangers are an attractive addition to any iron fence. The size is typically 18"w (out from the fence) by 8"h. Ask your sales rep for details.
Portable Fence Plates are the perfect solution for fencing off patios. They're typically used by restaurants and other businesses as opposed to the average home owner.
