Laurier/Kars

The pickets are straight across the top on a Laurier ($89/foot (3’h))  and for a Kars ($109/foot (3’8″h)) (shown here) they are curved.

Starting as low as $109/foot (3’8″h) Fully Installed, the example shows a Kars (Concave) made of Cedar. The standard Kars has the pickets spaced 3-1/4″ at the top and 7/8″ along the puppy fill bottom.

“Concave” refers to the shape of the curve on top of the fence. If the the arc is higher in the center than at the posts it’s convex. If the arc is lower in the center than at the posts it’s concave.
