🌲 Pre-Staining Wood Pre-staining wood fences at the shop lets stain soak into every surface before installation, giving a rich colour and bringing out the grain and texture of the wood. While stain can help reduce fading from sunlight and may be less appealing to insects, its main purpose is aesthetic — it doesn’t stop wood from cracking or warping and doesn’t come with a wood warranty. More information here. 🔩 Powder Coating Metal For iron fences, railings, gates or outdoor items, powder coating is a durable finishing process where finely grounded color is electrostatically applied and baked on, creating a tough, even coating that’s far stronger than normal paint. It offers excellent protection against corrosion, weathering, chipping and fading, requires very little maintenance, and comes in many colours and effects.
