- Since it was first introduced by Fence-All way back in 1988 Vinyl/PVC has proven to be a very popular material choice.
- Offering the look of painted wood, Vinyl/PVC is pretty much maintenance-free other than the occasional wash with the garden hose.
- PVC is a rigid polyvinyl chloride homopolymer compound. A high level of Titanium Dioxide pigment is added to provide long term UV light resistance, as well as impact modifiers for superior strength. The formulation is similar to that of vinyl siding and windows, which have a fifty year history of providing long term durability and structural integrity.
- “Virgin Vinyl” refers to 100% new vinyl with UV inhibitors and impact modifiers throughout the entire product.
- As with most plastics, PVC becomes less flexible in colder weather conditions. Unless subject to unusual impact it will not break. It is normal for vinyl materials to expand and contract during temperature changes. Our PVC has been engineered to accommodate normal temperature swings.
- PVC is fire safe. It has a flashpoint of 900 (approx.) and does not easily ignite. Vinyl is classified as “Self- Extinguishing”.
- Our PVC products are each tailored to meet or exceed all the requirements necessary for typical product performance, with a chemical compound that includes impact modifiers.
